1. Valet parking is $$ but not out of line with other hotels I looked at and I hate trying to find decent parking in this city - so it was woth the cost.

Only two things to be aware of - hotel windows are single pane, thus a bit noisy in the morning (at least for rooms towards the front with the street) and of course parking a car in the center of SF, well costs a fortune (minimum $25 a night), as parking spots at the curbside are extremely rare to find.

3. Like most other hotels in the city they charge an arm & a leg for parking ($36 for cars/$40 for SUVs & trucks + 14% tax) ouch.

6. Also, if you want to rent a car (there is a fee for parking at the hotel) there are two rental car places within a couple of blocks.
