2. This is called a good deal: affordable, cute, old fashion but very classy hotel with friendly and helpful personnel in a heart of Union Square, with short distance to famous historic trams and Market Street, and China Town around the corner make it a fantastic location.

4. BART station, and there are lots of restaurants very close by, including one of the best seafood restaurants in the city that's literally connected to the lobby of the hotel (they have great happy hour deals on fresh oysters and drinks).

10. There were other air/hotel deals out there (believe me, I combed all the usual sites and then some), but when Kensington popped up within my budget, I jumped at the chance to stay there again.
