6. my husband and i stayed for 3 nights at the donatello, when we arrived we decided to take the subway from the airport then walk, this would have been fine but we got off at teh wrong stop and walked up a lot of steep roads before arriving so arrived frazzled, was pleasently surprised when we walked in to the air con'd lobby with nice soft jazz playing in the background, despite us looking quite deshevalled and it being a smart hotel no one blinked an eye, the reception was manned and we were served almost immediatly our resivation was quickly confirmed and we were tolda bout the hotel aminities and given the free wi fi access code, a bell hop gladly took our bags and showed us to our room, the bell hop then gave us free a cable car pass that some other guests had left and felt maybe we could use it had that day remaining, (we ended up doing the same as we left with our old passes) this was a kind gesture and we tipped him for bringing the bags and giving us the pass.
