1. Alita at the Front Desk was very nice, warm & incredibly quick with both my check-in & check out which was really nice- she was a great first welcome to the hotel.

2. very average for 5* hotel, and for price of room - fairly new hotel - decor felt far more like a W than a St Regis, and not in a good way - check in fine, though a little slow - only 2 check-in desks, wouldn't like to see it when its busy (which it was, we were just lucky with timing) - told me my room would be ready in 5 minutes - then came back and said it would be three hours - i shudder to think what happened for it to be initially 5 minutes to 3 hours - i had a meeting anyway so wasn't that put out - room was very nice to be fair - big tv, comfy bed, very bright and airy, electric blinds etc - bathroom very plush, nice shower, big sunken tub check out painful - overcharged on a drinks bill, when i queried it said i'd have to wait as bar wasn't open yet (it was 11.30am and the bar IS the lobby effectively) - left with a bad taste - plenty more better chains and boutiques in the city.

3. Upon arrival, the doormen were friendly and assisted with our bags, and the front desk person was equally welcoming -- she even offered a late check out of 4pm (helped that we were Starwood members).

4. As I had told you at check out, we did NOT use the minibar.

5. Upon check out after voicing our concerns we were informed that we just didn't ask clear enough because there is a lounge or something like that for Starwood members with Coffee, etc on the 4th floor.
