4. Upon our arrival, we were told by the manager that there was no subway nearby & we would have to take a cab everywhere ($25-$30 from downtown), & to be careful at night b/c there were gangbangers.

However, no hot water supply for my first night and air-conditioning were under repairing for 5 days; EQ and the standard of services and from one of the front desk manager was extremely low: I could not hook on the wireless internet during my 8 nights stay even though I got the right password from the front desk; instead, the system asked for the WEP network key.
