I called the desk about this and was abruptly told there is nothing he could do and to contact the

in the morning.

Internet is of a huge importance for most people now days and to tell someone to talk to the

in the morning and to be rude about it is unacceptable.

that there was no subway nearby & we would have to take a cab everywhere ($25-$30 from downtown), & to be careful at night b/c there were gangbangers.

was extremely low: I could not hook on the wireless internet during my 8 nights stay even though I got the right password from the front desk; instead, the system asked for the WEP network key.
