1. It's a clean, no-frills motor hotel on a busy street, across from a body shop, with a desk clerk behind safety glass after dark.

4. The elderly man at the front desk was very kind and informative when we asked about public transit which, by the way, is very easy to get to from the hotel(another reason we chose to stay at the Heart, we had planned on going out drinking and didn't want to drive our car back).

10. I used to live in Chicago and always was intrigued by this hotel when I drove by it, mostly due to the big cheesy sign (which I love).
