1. We got great advice from the concierge, the valets were very funny and personable, the front desk was warm and friendly and I even ran into the general manager on the elevator and he was so nice.

4. A gentleman by the name of Brian Laude who was suppose to be the night manager for that evening told me that it was the 'Nature of Business' and these things can happen on a busy holiday weeked.

5. Absolutely not a problem for them though, as the very gracious front desk manager took our confirmation letter, jotted down my Amex info for incidentials and had the very helpful bellman, Constantine, show us to our room.

7. I finally was able to speak with a manager and found out that the front desk attendent, who had escorted me to my room, reported that the room smelled of smoke.
