1. We had been excited about the on site spa, until we found that it is also over priced - I get a monthly massage from a spa, and they charge over double the going rate.

3. I do have one tip, if you have a federal ID the rate of the hotel is about 4 times less.

4. what's not to like?:)At the AAA rate of about $259 for a regular room (plus about $50 worth of takes) the value was very good.

5. I will say that the clientele at the Park Hyatt is indicative of its room rates and Gold Coast location -- the lobby is a sea of leather, fur, plastic surgery, Armani shopping bags, thigh-high boots, etc. Makes for great (if sometimes obnoxious) people-watching.

10. I don't typically venture into 5-star range unless I can find a rate that fits into my 4-star budget, and this time, I got lucky, and I'm glad that I did.
