1. New York has many more hotels that are better values for your money, and I'm not talking the astronomical 4 - 5 stars that are above $500/night.

4. Usually I am not a fan of mi-range properties in manhattan because there are so many great hotels, however, Hilton had a triple points promotion at this hotel for a Sunday stay.

6. We had a king room on the 29th floor, which was more spacious than many NY hotels, and had a view of the Empire State Building (be sure to ask for a 'city view' room on a high floor) and was comfortable and quiet.
