The food is surprisingly good; the breakfast buffet for $17 was well worth the
cost
: fresh, a lot of variety, eggs and sausage, oatmeal, healthy options, Sarabeth jams and granola.

cost
about $25 per night less than the Michaelangelo which is where we stayed last year.

My only complaints about the hotel would be the extra
cost
s for use of some of the toiletries and the shower which should have come with an instruction manual.

There is an apparently undocumented $8 service charge for room service, so the breakfast one thought was $12 ended up
cost
ing nearly $25 when that charge and taxes were added.

but with special rates at $ 169/night it
cost
a third of the price than the mercer and you are not distrured by all the people waiting for the stars that stay at the Mercer.
