2. I found Aloft on Priceline and was surprised at the reasonable rate and their acceptance of any type of pet, including dogs of any size.

4. I would recommend aloft for travelers looking to save money as compared to Westin or St Regis rates, guests traveling with pets, or anyone interested in exploring one of the newer Starwood concepts.

5. I was unable to rate the cleanliness of the property as excellent primarily due to minor flaws in the finish out of the rooms and common areas, such as paint on the hallway carpets, which can easily be remedied to bring the hotel into compliance with what I presume to be brand standards.
