1. We were fortunate to find a quite reasonable rate this time of the year; when we last visited New York during mid-October for our daughter's wedding, we couldn't afford the stay.

3. Best of all, for what is quite reasonable room rates in Midtown Manhattan one gets complimentary breakfast and afternoon tea and wine served in the most comfortable lounge which makes this hotel not only a wonderful place to stay, but also an amazing bargain.
