1. There is a daily resort fee, but this includes costs of (fast) valet parking.

2. We had a oceanview room that cost $469/night and was right next to oceanfront which we decided to keep since oceanfront rooms you could not see the sunset without coming out of your room.
"Nice boutique hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/9/2012 Vote
3. We joined 'I Prefer' before booking our room, and were pleasantly surprised to find an oceanfront room with breakfast included for not much more than the cost of an oceanview.
"Lovely time on Kauai " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/16/2012 Vote
4. The second item that mitigated our costs in this 5 day package, was a credit of $50 a day for the other meals and/or bar tab from either inside bar at the Red Salt, or drinks and snacks from the poolside thatch roof Tiki hut bar.
"Paradise found! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/29/2012 Vote
5. Now that I am home and have had a chance to add up all the costs we incurred, (including even the boarding of our 2 year old Golden Retriever while away), I find that my actual expenditures for this vacation came in under my budgeted amount.
"Paradise found! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/29/2012 Vote
6. It would cost them about $2/day, and it would remove the only bit of irritating nickel-and-diming I noticed during the stay.
"Classy and relaxing " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/31/2011 Vote
7. If we go back, we would not stay here again because I feel like there are much nicer hotels on the island for the same cost.
"Didn't live up to the reviews " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/30/2011 Vote
8. In room coffee was excellent but only 6 portions were provided and then it cost $1 for each additional serving.
"Liked it a lot but it lacked the Kauaian feel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/3/2011 Vote
9. What I liked:1) good location - Not far from Waimea Canyon / Port Allen good for Na Pali water tour / Port Allen airport - good for island helicopter tour) / Sand Beach - the most amazing beach on Kauai - be caution during parking under Acacia - we scratched the top of the car - Acacia's sticks as hard as iron pins)/ 1 miles from Spouting Horn and National Garden / 25 minutes from Kipu falls (good for taking photos, jumping from waterfall to the pool, swimming)/ 500m from Brennecke's restaurant (Crab's legs are highly recommended!)2) Hotel's amenities:- self-service laundry,- whirlpool with hot water- pool with warm water - 4 very small buildings (means lack of neighbors)- swimming gear, beach amenities rental services (You can take all around the island) for a reasonable price( pair of fin costs 5 USD per day).
"Great place to stop BUT eat outside recommend " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/22/2011 Vote
10. Now for the hotel: The Koa Keal is costly (500.00+ per night) .
"Excellent: Soup-to-Nuts! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/15/2011 Vote
