1. There is a cozy bar at the entrance to the restaurant with full service.

2. As for the neighborhood, we walked to a local bar around the corner and behind the hotel (used the GPS to find it) and it had inexpensive drinks and a nice local bar atmosphere with friendly staff (Angle Bar, I think?).
