1. Parking is pretty pricey, but we parked on the street since we were just staying overnight and only paid for two hours since Sunday is free on street.

3. The area is safe, so if you want to save on parking you can use the street for overnight and free Sundays.

4. I made the mistake of not staying longer, it was a great hotel, we parked on the street which worked great for us, walked to both downtown very easily, and having whole foods under you was a great place to explore.

6. it was a short walk to the space needle, had a wholefoods downstair (fantastic coffee - dont go to starbucks) and the best walk of all, straight throught he space centre, over to queen anne, where we found easy street records and one of the best places to eat - Toulouse Petit.

7. We were able to utilize free street parking most of the weekend and utilize the streetcar that passes in front of the hotel.

8. Whole Foods is located next to the hotel so that was really convenient for snacks, breakfast, etc. Portage Bay cafe down the street was divine.

9. We used our car for dinner at Canlis on Saturday night and were able to find free on-street parking right outside the hotel when we returned.

10. (Street parking is free after 6pm Saturday and all day Sunday - why pay for a garage?) The hotel is adjacent to the residential tower and the plaza has lots of amenities - Whole Foods, the obligatory Starbucks, dry cleaner, FedEx/Kinkos, card shop, pet store and a few nice restaurants.
