3. The hotel is undergoing remodeling, so there's currently a mix of old-and-seriously-needing improvement (no real fans in the bathrooms, ancient wallpaper and carpet) and new (lovely beds, sparklingly new and clean linens, towels and shower curtains).

9. My room was cleaned and maintained very well during my stay, although I was kind of annoyed that housekeeping insisted on giving me fresh towels everyday, even when I had hung them up (a card on the nightstand told me that this would indicate that I would re-use my towels).
