4. The hotel is undergoing remodeling, so there's currently a mix of old-and-seriously-needing improvement (no real fans in the bathrooms, ancient wallpaper and carpet) and new (lovely beds, sparklingly new and clean linens, towels and shower curtains).

6. The main downside to the hotel is that although the rooms and bathroom were clean the rooms need updating; the carpets were worn and the state of maintenance of the hallway was somewhat iffy.

7. Although the bathroom was nicely renovated, nobody bothered to glue the faucet to the countertop so you needed to hold down the faucet when you turned it on or tried to set the water temperature.
