Pros:- convenient location for touring Kauai- the best restaurant on Kauai island is right inside the hotel: Hukilai Lanai - I really recommend it, we went twice and it was delicious- nice, cozy rooms, large bathrooms- nice large deck where you can eat breakfast and feed birds from your hand- quiet at night, great for relaxing- hot tub overlooking the beautiful ocean- nice ambiance at night by the pool, (torches etc)- good pool side bar ($)- free parking- free wireless.

8. The grounds are meticulously landscaped, the pool with the waterfall feature is fabu,the jacuzzi overlooking the ocean was put to GOOD use every night, the food/drinks in the restaurant couldn't have been any better and it sits right on the ocean.

9. On the ground floor you may want to consider bringing a sliding window lock if you like to hear the ocean instead of the air conditioning.

10. Decor in the room was bland, but it was extremely clean; the hotel's beautiful grounds, along with constant music and ocean gusts/winds make for a wonderful relaxing stay.
