1. For all it's nearness to easily accessible commercial enterprises, the resort is incredibly quiet as it sits well off the highway.

If snorkeling, check out Boss Frog's shop (three locations - just north of the resort on the main highway next to Snorkel Bob's, on the way to Po'ipu, and one more I can't remember) for cheap rentals and also check into renting their underwater camera - it takes great shots (about 600) and does video with sound (about 40 min).

5. If you don't qualify for the tour (like us) then check out Boss Frog's shop (snorkeling etc.) that's just north of the resort on the main highway (next to Snorkel Bob's).

6. Awsome location - Right in the middle of everything 10 miles south to the airport 20 miles south to poipu about a hour to wimea canyon (dont mind spelling errors) 45 minutes to North Shore (end of highway) AWSOME SNORKLE with reef bar going out 400 ' calf deep water.
