7. Opposite the resort entrance (2 min walk) is a small strip mall with a cafe/bar (great BLTs), a sandwich shop, a taqueria, a pizzeria, and a full size supermarket, making it extremely convenient to cater in the condo kitchen if that's what you're hoping to do.

Only about $60/night more (total with taxes, parking, and amenity fee was $220/night), but everything was much better: the room (big kitchen, comfortable beds, rap-around sofa-bed, 2 TVs, big bathroom, quiet washer/'dryer), the lobby and stores, the several pools, hot tubs, and big lawn, pool bar/restaurant, free boogie boards, and right on a beautiful beach.
