1. It's the little touches which separate the good from the mediocre, and the Roosevelt seems to have lost it's way, and at these prices, you're not really getting good value.

3. After 10 years on the road, I'm convinced that you will not find a cooler, more fun, better managed, better staffed, more diverse, and ultimately better value hotel.

4. While I agree that it IS pricey, considering its age and the fact that the rooms are quite minimalist, I think it was still good value.

7. The hotel is also great value (I paid $199) and will remain so as the basic architecture of the building and the rooms mean it will never be able to attract the hyper lux crowd who now insist on enourmous bathrooms, rooms, etc. Your room and bathroom will be small.
