Downsides - paper-thin walls (easy to hear neighbors conversation and elevator noises), very loud heating/AC unit (very loud on/off sounds), one small wardrobe that was not deep enough to accept a hanger (cabinet doors won't close with items on hangers in place), bathroom fan did not function (no apparent switch), and little things like no coat hooks and only one towel bar in the bathroom (where do you put towels after use?).
