The neighborhood is fine, you are in the center of the UPenn campus, surrounded by yuppy style apartment complexes, dorms, and lots of cheap food and beverage options including the new Bobby Flay's Burger Palace, which looks pretty cool, but when I'm in Philly my red meat of choice is a south philly style cheese steak.

3. There are many excellent restaurants and interesting shops in the neighborhood, and lots of campus security/city police so it felt very safe even at night.

4. convenient to U of P campus, ICA, walk to World Cafe Live - quiet breakfast, good value for hotel meal - very nice room with free computer and internet access in room - hotel is overall bland and a little beat up but better value than hilton in same neighborhood.
