NO - 'you'll be OK - he's gone now' was their reactionI had to run the gauntlet myself - all the staff were concerned about was the fact that I advised them that after I had made my escape that I had heard things being broken - check out the back of the laundry door where they very quickly put up a metal plate to cover where this man ripped it off it's hinges - which I might add could have been injuries to myself if I had not escaped Apart from this incident leaving me very shaken with no support from the staff I did have a good time but was extremely careful as to who was around me in this hotel knowing full well that if you required assistance you would not get it.

2. to cut a long story short I was escorted back to the laundry after 'if you insist' was said by another member of staff BUT did they then take me back to my room after collecting my washing .

3. After thinking it would be safer to stay in the hotel at night and do the laundry instead of venturing out alone .

4. I experienced a very nasty incident in the laundry room and was very lucky that I was sensible enough to keep my wits about me but when I did manage to get away and flee down the fire escape and hurtle into the foyer to grab the security guard and try and explain that I was nearly attacked in their laundry and had been there for over 25 mins trying to talk my way out all his reaction was to say 'OH okay'.

5. Only drawback was the elevators (only 2) of which the staff was usually on them; either carting the dirty laundry in big carts or room service making deliveries.
