1. But if you 're looking for a place on the beach, centrally located that is cheap in Kauai with free parking, this is the place for you.

2. It was clean, although I did see 2 cockroaches in the bathroom but this is the tropics:) The staff was really friendly and helpful and they had free parking.

8. I joked to the receptionist 'Can you give me a second floor room just in case?' When I went to the room, which was a LONG walk from the closest parking space, I turned on the TV and saw the horrific live video of the tsunami in Japan.

9. It has a pretty view if you walk out to the beach which is very close 50 feet or so but our 'lanai' faced the parking lot and car alarms went off on occasion.
