2. The hotel mentioned they provided a free shuttle to downtown Austin, about a 10 min drive, which would have been an extraordinary benefit had we managed to take advantage of it.

7. If you are going to experience Austin, then I would recommend staying downtown or in the northern part of the city since the hotel is right on the highway in a not so great part of town.
