4. For the price of the hotel, I would think that people would take cheaper family vacations and save the money for cool activities for the kids rather than a nightly rate.

5. * a friend of ours here in nyc who went to college at university of hawaii gave us this money saving tip - BUY YOUR CHEAP SOUVENIRS AT WAL-MART!we were skeptical at first, but this was a great idea and saved us so much money.

Not to sound whiny, but for that price I would have expected better touches, ie: chocolate or water at turndown, breakfast included, etc. We are hotel junkies and are willing to spend good money on hotels, but we hope to enjoy the hotel and room so much that we just forget or don't care how much we spend.

They do everything for you, take your bags out of the taxi, take them to your room for you- they even gave us a $200 credit to spend there at their resort which we were expecting to pay for when we checked out, and we didn't have to pay for anything we charged to our room, it was basically free money to be spent how we wanted there at the resort, for food, drinks, etc. There are 2 or 3 things that it can not be used for- but 200.00 free money is free money.

The staff was outstanding, wonderful swimming beach with swim platform (the beach is sheltered by an offshore reef), especially the Plumeria Restaurant was outstanding (the other 'signature' restaurant was very nice but for the money I've had better -- try the original Roy's which is about 15mins.

10. I think it is worth the money, you would pay a lot of money for a hotel in England and nowhere in England is a nice a Hawaii.
