athough the room can be noisey from the sirens and buses it is still a very safe and well located hotel with a great pool and pool
deck
area,,,,new lounges arrived during my stay and were a welcome addition to the pool area.

The 6th floor has a Mini Market (huge blessing for me!), Coin operated Laundry facility, nice Pool and Jacuzzi, also Sauna & restrooms, and an enormous amount of free
deck
space guests may use for a variety of purposes.

The pool
deck
is the best in Waikiki as it has sun from early morning to about 5:00pm.

Some of the lounges on the pool
deck
are in need of repair as some of the strapping is missing however I think they may be replaced/repaired when the pool
deck
is cleaned and pool tiles repaired as part of the renovation.

The pools were always clean and not overcrowded and the sun
deck
was a great sun trap to yop up the tan when we didn't want to go to the beach.

Pool
deck
was pretty windy, but it was refreshing to cool off in a sand free venue occasionally.

The only downside, but I understand the hotel doesn't own it therefore cannot set the price, is the parking
deck
there charges $25 a night for parking.
