1. Location -- Well situated on what I would call the 'edge' of downtown but also within walking distance to Pike Street, Nortdrom, etc. We never used our car after giving it to the valet -- we were able to walk everywhere.

2. There is usually good street parking in the area and a reasonable pay lot across the street if you can't find anything on the street.

6. There was free underground downtown transit across the street from this hotel and it made it very convenient to get back to hotel to clean up after the race.

10. If you can secure a good rate here compared to the wonderful Grand Hyatt across the street, give it a shot, or at least come over for breakfast.
