1. The hotel room was spacious, comfortable and had all the amenities you would want - comfortable bed, nice linens, a good workspace with plenty of outlets, nice bath toiletries and most of all, a good, clean room.

3. When I was young a room with just a shower was called a half bath, and you only found them in the cheapest motels.
