1. Location: This may be the only hotel in downtown Seattle, except the Edgewater on the waterfront that has balconies.

2. No hassle with finding parking downtown, come back to the hotel if you want a break, public transit is so close and takes you all over if you don't want to drive, and more to see and do around every corner than you could ever do.

Pioneer Square a brisk 15 minute walk to the right, 15 minutes beyond that to the International District and the Luke Wing Museum (a must see), and across the street, up the hill, and a few blocks to the left and you're at the marvellous Public Library in downtown and the luxury shopping malls plus the entrance to the Monorail to the Space Needle.
