1. The hotel was only about 10/15 mins walk to the Waterfront (maybe it's Watergate?) tube station and HUGE supermarket that closes around midnight.

8. We knew we weren't going to be in the room besides to sleep, so it wasn't completely terrible, and there's one of the bike share program racks right outside the hotel, as well as another a short distance away by the Waterfront Metro.

9. The Channel Inn has a terrific location on the Channel and across from Haines Point: close to many government buildings south of the Mall, easy walk to Waterfront Metro, also walkable to L'Enfant Plaza metro, the Smithsonian Castle, etc. very close to seafood market.
