even told me that if I wasn`t 100% satsified with my view, I could let him know and he`d move us to a different room.

about the hot water, his solution was they could move us to another room(dont the same hot water heater supply all the rooms)LOL.

clerk, offered him my work identification, told him my reason for coming and asked if he (or another available staff member) could accompany me to take a look at a room.
