The Kennedy Centre is also just a short walk away and a local advised us that we could go up onto the roof and have a great nightime
view
of Washington.

But the general comfort, nice

We booked with points and received an upgrade to the junior suite: what a great room with a fantastic
view
onto Rhode Island Avenue.

Our room was to the rear of the hotel, which doesn't provide much of a
view
and unfortunately you can hear the large air conditioning units at the rear of the hotel, which did disturb my sleep a little.

But we had a
view
of the back alley and the joy of being woken up each day by the beep beep beep of garbage trucks.

The regular king room was quite comfortable, especially the bed, though it had a
view
of the parking lot and the bathroom, as others have said, is tiny.

My junior suite was quite nice--two big rooms, bar area with sink and fridge, two big flat-panel TVs, etc. The
view
stunk--parking lot and other buildings, but it's nonetheless preferable to fronting Massachusetts Avenue, which can get noisy.
"great in just about every way "
