1. Tony at the Concierge desk was more than happy to oblige, and promised that they would take care of everything for us, free of charge.

3. About a $17 cab fare from airport, many restaurants and bars all very close, within a 20-30 minute walk from the White House, Capitol Hill, Washington Monument,shopping stores, Macy's, all the Smithsonian museums(which are all free of charge), right across the street from the Verizon Center, Photo Gallery Smithsonian Gallery, and the National Spy Museum.

6. I won't be back here, though, until they provide adequate furnishings for the lobby and 'deluxe' category rooms, for the $ they charge it's simply a must to keep up with their competition.

9. There's a hefty charge for valet parking, but it's still at least $10 less than what you'd pay in other major cities like New York and San Francisco.

10. It seems like a small thing, but when you consider that most hotels plunk a bottle of water in your room and then charge you six or seven bucks if you dare to drink it, it's a nice gesture.
