4. A couple of caveats: WiFi is sporadic at best and often required going down to the lobby or the bar to access a signal; and, avoid rooms at the rear of the hotel, which are subjected to a nightly garbage truck rally that runs between 4-6 a.m. After a couple of nights of this, the front desk happily moved us, and to an upgraded room.

8. This proved to be a pain constantly, to the degree that I always walked the nine floors down to the lobby (elevator took forever to arrive!) and sometimes walked nine flights up if the elevator guy had more important duties such as spending his time out front flagging cabs for tips.

9. Overall the hotel was good, but if breakfast had been included in the price and a computer for guest use was available in the lobby, it would have rated excellent.
