5. we didn't have bowls, or more than two knives, or a knife to cut with, or a cutting board, etc. I understand that stuff like that could easily walk (and maybe does - could that explain the empty drawers and cupboards?) so perhaps a solution would be to have kitchen 'kits' guests could sign out at check-in for a deposit fee.

6. We had rented a car over the weekend and staff clued us in that residential street parking was not in affect over the weekend (saving us the valet parking fee).
