1. The shower head was horrid and the toilet flushed only sporadically.

2. As with all historic hotels though, there were a few downsides: Internet service was very spotty, there was no digital thermostat in the room (only a little lever, so it took some trial and error to get the temperature right), and the water in the shower didn't get as hot as I would have liked.

4. The toilet is low-flow, and the shower comes with instructions, including a diagram, and it still took me a few minutes to figure out that where the water comes out of the spigot is where you reach under it and pull down to get the overhead shower.
