1. They aren't hotel rooms, instead they are extended stay efficiency apartments, all of them from what I can tell, and poorly constructed ones at that.

6. Also, they were doing construction on the hotel at the time (which they also failed to mention) and there was plastic draped over many walls and we got to hear circular saws through our entire meal.

7. Did he not understand my plight? Why would someone stay in a dust filled room next to a noisy elevator and atrium which was undergoing construction? Mind you, there was only one working elevator and patrons had to wait at least 15 minutes in the lobby before the elevator arrived.

8. As my colleague and I entered the hotel, a construction worker was literally knocking down a wall in front of our eyes.
