When I returned at about 7, I was told by the desk clerk that housekeeping was now gone for the day and that the housekeeping supervisor told her that I, in fact, had returned to a clean room and took a nap - thus messing up my
bed
.

The
bed
was awful - hard as a rock and the baseboards were peeling away from the wall because I'm pretty sure there were either bugs or some sort of mildew eating the walls.

There was chewing gum in the floor that you stuck to every time you walked over (right at the foot of the inner
bed
), a sticker the size of a pop can on the television that had obviously been there several weeks; compacted dirt behind the bathroom door a quarter inch thick.
