1. Even a budget motel needs to offer clean rooms, a safe environment, working bathrooms and decent bedding.

3. Room needed new carpet, some repairs to bathroom plaster, but it was clean and neat, the linens were fresh, the air conditioner did not have a mildew smell.

Actually - This took place in September 2010 - but the system wouldn't allow for that date - Hotel was severely run down - room initially appeared clean - but during the night cockroaches crawled across my face - and when we threw the lights on they scattered everywhere near the bathroom and sink.

5. Only thing is that the hallways are slightly dated as to are some of the furniture in the room, e.g. old smelly looking computer chair but apart from that the bathroom, bed, carpets, were all spot on.

8. The bathroom itself is miniscule and you can't sit down on the toilet and open the door at the same time.

9. Essentially you walk in and have to walk between the sink/mirror on one side and the bathroom on the other to get to the main part of the room.
