1. It isn't clean lines modern by any means, but it is tasteful, classy - marble baths, clean white fluffy bedding, and gorgeous window treatments, rugs.

4. The rooms may be tiny, but the bed was ultra comfortable, the bathroom was huge (I especially liked the Bath and Body products), room service was tasty (though it would have been nice if the dinner menu went past 11 pm) and the staff was friendly.

5. The lavatories flush with a booming noise and when the person in the room above mine had a late night-bath, it sounded just like an elephant jumping into a water hole.

6. My room seemed recently updated, but still in a Colonial stye - Hardwood Floors and marble baths, antique armoirs for the TVs, and desks for working, four poster beds, and lots of Carolina Blues and light yellows.

7. I usually like more modern amenities, but the hotel clearly has had renovations, so wireless and modern bath amenities were clearly in evidence and proper working order.
