1. All of the appliances in the kitchen area were up to date and stainless steel.

2. The room and kitchen were clean, the service was very responsive (wi-fi went down, so when I called the front desk, someone was here within five minutes with a personal modem, which worked just fine) and, after my recent European travels, free wi-fi, breakfast and parking were quite welcome.

3. They had upgraded to granite counters in the kitchen and bath, but the furniture was old and stained, and the Murphy bed that was in the main area was incapable of being retracted, and its headboard was a wobbly padded board that did little to hide the old pumps in the 1 foot filthy little gap behind the bed.
