1. There were several transport trucks out there with their engines idling, some construction noise and an extensive view of nothing but cement.

4. Julia, who checked us in, was able to find us a room on the ground floor, which was clean and ready, close enough to the Marketplace (counter service food and gift shop) that going to get a coffee or soda was quick, yet it wasn't too close so that you got the noise and foot traffic.

5. The only noise we did hear was from the hallway if someone was noisy walking by but once you put the ceiling fan on you didn't notice it.

7. Again, noise wasn't actually an issue, but the regular comings and goings of staff outside meant that we had to keep closing the curtains (rather than just the net drapes) whenever we were getting changes or whatever, and what could have been a secluded/private area was not.

8. We were worried that it would prove very noisy in such a high traffic location, but in reality noise from outside the room wasn't an issue (it was worse last year on an upper floor in what should have been a quieter location).

9. My room had an adjoining door to the room next to mine so while this could account for a larger noise factor, other than one noisy entrance at 2am, my neigbors were mercifully quiet.
