4. Comfortable rooms, some are a little tight, but the decor is very nice and the internet is free, 2 bottled water each day, 2 free home-made peanutbutter and jelly cookies (more about this later);40 inch HD TV and REALLY COMFORTABLE BEDSGood Food.

Positives: wonderful classic look, fun peanut butter + jelly tradition (they have PB+J's at night for free), really great and helpful staffNegatives: depending on your taste rooms may be a bit 'dated', location - it's in walking distance of bourbon street (10-15 mins), but there really isn't much else going on in the direct vicinity.

6. Another friendly gesture is the hot chocolate and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches ofered at 10pm free to all guests, where the kids came down in their jammies and I also did in the robe provided by the hotel, and felt perfectly at ease doing so.
