1. And, though we usually steer clear of hotel food, a sudden torrential downpour upon our arrival at the hotel prompted us to eat the lunch buffet which was very tasty (big thumbs up for the baked fish and bread pudding).

3. Make sure you try their lunch buffet during the week (it was great) or the Sunday brunch (didn't have time to try it, but others told us it was the best in NOLA).
