This is the only hotel/casino where everytime I am there, there are people off the
street
trying to sell you things, like club passes, etc. Very shady.

The hotel was so close to downtown (freemont
street
) and the outlet mall (best place ever!) We walked to town and if we wanted to get the bus back we would as it stops outside the hotel - the best bus was the express as it didnt stop at every hotel.

If you are not planning to drive to the main
street
every night, it would be a better idea to take hotel like Luxor which is not that expensive and has train connectivity to the part of the
street
.

It's location between the Strip and Freemont
Street
make it a decent 'home base' for a budget minded traveler that doesn't mind riding a bus or taking a cab to reach other attractions.
