1. The rooms had a bit of a residential home smell and wasn't well cleaned by housekeeping - old soap etc. For the price though and the location the hotel suited our needs.

2. Hotel Room: Smelled, Holes on the wall were covered with a loose take and cut out wall paper, window stuck and would not close due to bad hinges, dirty carpets, old linens which were very dirty.

3. Hotel room description:Is advertised as a non smoking hotel, yet it smells like old cigarettes.

4. The dirty stairs we had to get up to our rooms on the 5th floor smelled like garbage.

Even though the price is fair but my two-girls and I had the following negative experiences while we were staying at Cathedral Hill Hotel: (1) the shower is broken - switch was stuck and can only take bath; (2) only one little trash can in a family sized room and there is no trash can can be found in the entire hall way or floor; (3) the room is clean but the hall way smells terrible and needs maintenance(walls and carpet); (4) cleaning serves personnel did not provide us with bathroom toilet paper (for the family/3 people size room) and I had to ask the front desk for it; (4) the room Temperature was not controlled by the guest but the hotel, and there is no window can be opened when we feel too warm.

10. The room smelled a little of smoke, but they have asked that no one smoke in the rooms, either they are still trying to get the smell out from past smoking rooms or people smoke in the room anyway.

11. The hotel room was fairly dull and had a bit of a strange smell, sorely in need of decoration and new carpets etc but not dirty.

13. Our room was big but smelled strange and the windows were complete hazards especially for those travelling with children.
