1. This allowed us to run the bathroom fan all night with the door open, in an effort to cover up at least some of the noise that was keeping us up.

2. Eventually, the noise got so bad that we were forced to redecorate the room by moving the beds as far from the front door and wall shared with the neighboring room as possible and removed the light bulbs from the bathroom.

3. If you're only at the motel for sleeping, it surely is sufficient - the location is excellent and there were no loud noises during my 1-week stay there.

4. He gave me a spare from under his counter, but we didn't need it anyway because the wake-up never came and we never slept for more than an hour at a time anyway because of the noise and concern about an open window on the ground floor in the area the place was situated.

5. Grubby reception, badly decorated rooms, a bathroom in which the wash basin was stained, no coffee making facility (not even polystyrene cups for the bathroom), plumbing noises every ten or so minutes throughout the night and a fumble in the dark for the light switch on the table lamp.

6. Well, that was until 1 am when I was woken up by loud noises of people partying on the first floor, at least 20 people, smoking, shouting, drinking.
