1. Maybe this is typical Kings Inn modus operandi, or perhaps housekeeping simply slipped up that morning and forgot to tuck the beach towels in.

2. The only way I can effectively describe what we found is this: picture a bare mattress with a large beach towel thrown over the top of it---not tucked underneath the mattress in any way.
